Wikipedia is a well know site across the world it was founded on march 9 2000 by bomis inc.it was launched as an English language project in January 15 2001 as a non profit organization. many people know it as a free ,collaborative, multilingual internet encyclopedia web page where you can post your own web page on what ever subject you want while any one can change and or edit the information on your web page when ever. Wikipedia is a special place to help make calibration easier where almost every one can edit any thing on any web page to give a better understanding of the subject to the readers.

jimmy wales is an American internet entrepreneur who is known as the co founder and the promoter of wikipedia . jimmy and two partners founded bomis, the company would provide the initial funding for the peer reviewed program and around 2000-2003 the company became a success around the globe.
